Bestway Wholesale wins F&B deal with Bield Housing & Care

Bestway Wholesale has secured a deal with care home provider Bield Housing & Care to supply its sites with food and beverages.

As part of the three- to five-year contract, Bestway will supply all of the company's 50 developments across Scotland with dry, ambient, chilled and frozen food and beverages.

Steve Irons, senior contract and key account manager for Bestway Wholesale, said: "Bield Housing & Care is a major player in the Scottish care home sector and I am delighted that it has chosen Bestway Wholesale as its supply partner for the foreseeable future. As a registered charity, it was important that we worked with them to meet their requirements and budget.

David Porter, interim procurement manager at Bield Housing & Care, commented: "At Bield, we are continually looking to get the best value from our supplier partners. This is not about always looking for the cheapest option but making sure we pay competitive prices while maintaining high levels of quality and service.

"Bestway provides the comprehensive range of products we require within our exacting delivery framework and budget parameters. The contract team demonstrated that it understood our business and its challenges and I am delighted that we are working together."
