Beverage Standards Association (BSA) launches the 2013 Beverage Standards Awards
The Beverage Standards Association (BSA) is calling all out of home cafes and restaurants in England, Scotland and Wales to enter this year's prestigious Beverage Standards Awards, open to members and non-members.
Running alongside the accreditations are the seven Best Drink Awards which include Best Small Espresso; Best Flat White; Best Filter and Best Hot Chocolate.
Only anonymous trained assessors will provide accurate and impartial assessments of an outlet's beverages and service.
Last year, Mandy Cook, who runs Cafelicious in Swindon with her husband Barry won a Five Cup Accreditation and Best Hot Chocolate, and said: "The press and media publicity resulting from winning the BSA Awards helped to produce frankly staggering benefits. Our overall beverage sales increased as did our average customer spend. We felt proud to receive the recognition for all our hard work. We will be entering this year and encourage other café owners to do the same."
