Bidfood's Andy Kemp to speak at Arena Savoy Lecture 2020

Bidfood's Andy Kemp will take to the podium in March to deliver the Arena Savoy Lecture 2020.

The group sales and marketing director will offer an insight into the challenges that have shaped his career and his influence on the industry.

Kemp was awarded an MBE in June 2019 and an honorary doctorate from the University of West London in 2017 for services to foodservice and hospitality, and is a supporter of industry charities, including Springboard and Hospitality Action.

He also serves as a national officer of Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, is a fellow of the Institute of Hospitality, and a founding member of the One and All Foundation, which supports diversity and opportunity for all in hospitality.

The event will be held at the Savoy hotel in London on 9 March, kicking off with Kemp's formal presentation and followed by a drinks reception and three-course dinner.

Lorraine Wood, director of Arena, said: "The Arena Savoy Lecture is one of the most coveted events in the Arena calendar and this year's will be no exception. Andy Kemp has developed a vast amount of industry knowledge and insight over his impressive career and I will be delighted to welcome him to share some of this wisdom with our delegates."
