Bidfood launches Christmas campaign to reward hospitality employees

Bidfood has launched a Christmas gift campaign to recognise those who sacrifice spending Christmas with their families to make the season special for others.

The campaign, which won a PRCA Dare award this year, is open to anyone working in the hospitality industry.

Bidfood is inviting the industry to nominate individuals who are either working Christmas Day or Boxing Day this year, that go the extra mile to make the festive period special.

Winners will be chosen by a panel including UKHospitality chief executive Kate Nicholls, Hospitality Action chief executive Mark Lewis, Pride of Britain chief executive Peter Hancock, and Bidfood's group sales & marketing director Andy Kemp.

Four winners will be revealed on Monday 3rd December across four categories: accommodation, care, foodie outlets and charities (including education). Each will receive Christmas dinner from Bidfood in January, once the busy period is over, as well as a surprise gift.

Bidfood's group sales & marketing director Andy Kemp said: "Following the overwhelming success of last year, we are delighted to announce the return of our award-winning, Bidfood's Christmas Gift campaign.

"The sheer volume of heart-warming stories we received last year is testament to the hard work and importance the hospitality sector has on all of us.

"With thousands giving up family time in the lead up, and often on Christmas Day itself. We want to hear about some of the standout individuals in our industry and thank them for their contribution."

Entries must be made by Monday 12 November, to enter visit www.bidfood.co.uk/bidfood-christmas-gift.
