Bidvest Foodservice boosts partnership with Dallaglio Foundation

Bidvest Foodservice is bolstering support for charity partner the Dallaglio Foundation by hosting employability events at its depots to inspire pupils to plan for a better future.

Teams from Bidvest Foodservice depots in Gateshead and Chepstow hosted half-day employability sessions, which kicked off with a presentation by the general managers about the wide-ranging roles available within Bidvest Foodservice, before pupils embarked on a behind the scenes depot tour, various learning activities and a Q&A session to round off their visit.

Bidvest has been supporting the foundation's annual Cycle Slam charity bike ride since 2010, with chief executive Andrew Selley taking part in a stage at each one.

Former England rugby captain Lawrence Dallaglio set up the Dallaglio Foundation in 2009 with the goal of supporting disengaged young people to become more employable through the power of rugby.
