Bidvest Foodservice's ViVAS launch Chalk Farm

Bidvest Foodservice's Specialist Drinks Division ViVAS has announced the launch of a new collection of vibrant, instantly recognisable, easy-to-drink wines.

Matt Towe, marketing manager for ViVAS, said: "The Chalk Farm collection consists of all the essential variants needed for pub, restaurant and bar operators to offer consumers a complete, well-rounded wine menu. Whilst more experienced operators can use the collection as a core range to build on, and introduce more grape varieties, to create a more extensive wine list.

"With wine becoming the UK's most popular alcoholic drink, where six-in-10 people describe it as their ‘drink of choice', the majority of consumers know what they like and what they want to drink when making out of home purchases," he added.

The range includes some of Britain's favorite grapes to provide a flexible choice for businesses, such as a smooth Chilean Merlot; a light and crisp Australian Pinot Grigio; a complex Australian Shiraz; a fruity Californian Zinfandel Rosé and a pure Chilean Sauvignon Blanc.

Specialist Chalk Farm point of sale kits with branded t-shirts, aprons, wine coolers and chalk boards are also available on request.
