Bigger 6 Series High Speed washers from Girbau

The energy-saving 6 Series High Speed washer range from Girbau UK has been expanded to offer higher load capacities.

Existing washers - which can handle 9kg, 14kg and 19kg of washing - have now been joined by machines that can wash 25kg, 44kg, 63kg and 122kg loads.

All seven models have been designed to optimise the use of water and energy, and the 9kg HS6008 has been named the most energy-efficient device in its class by US organisation Energy Star.

The washers offer spin speeds up to 1,000rpm, reduced noise and vibration, and enhanced performance on reduced cycle times. All in the range but the HS6008 offer as many as 99 programming options.

Girbau's microprocessor-controlled GDrive system optimises high-speed spin cycles to suit different fabrics, while its Aquamixer technology controls the mix of hot and cold water to eliminate the need for extra heating.

Aquafall technology provides gentler but effective washing while holes in the drum paddles let in more water to increase cleaning and shorten the rinse cycle.

Prototypes of the robust and recyclable washers have passed all the life tests, including more than 40 million cycles.
