Product Black Garlic
USP Versatile black garlic has a savoury, deep flavour with a touch of sweetness, a soft and sticky texture and does not create garlic breath. The fermentation of sugars and amino acids produces the dark melanoidin colouring.
Health benefits Black garlic has twice the antioxidant levels of conventional garlic and contains cancer- and cholesterol-fighting s-allylcysteine.
Uses include flavouring soups, sauces and stocks; in desserts; frying in thin slices as a garnish; and in dips, risottos, pasta dishes and stir-fries.
