Blue ceramic display tile from Primeware Ceramics

Market demand for Primeware Ceramic's blue ceramic tile has prompted the London-based group to launch a Blue Glass Hot Tile to join its recently launched black version.

The tile slots into the 1/1 gastronorm bain-marie in a servery counter to brighten up the presentation of food. The food is presented on the tile, which works with the ambient temperature of the servery, be it heated, buffet or chilled.

The tile is made from thermally toughened glass set in a stainless-steel frame that uses food-safe, heat-resistant silicone grout.

Primeware, which was set up in 1996, was the first company in the world to market coloured ceramic dishes with matching lids and hot tiles for the catering industry and sells gastronorm ceramic dishes and counter tops in more than 75 colour combinations.
