Brakes beefs up its CSER policy

Brakes Group has announced a new drive to beef up its Corporate, Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSER) programme.

It has made detailed commitments in five key areas - environment, responsible sourcing, health and nutrition, communities and Brakes people. They include: reducing food miles, doubling Marine Stewardship Council products, meeting government health and nutrition targets, delivering one million meal equivalents to the vulnerable, and setting up an employee volunteering programme.
