Product Breaded Dill Pickles
USP Billed as "the new onion ring" following successful pilots in pubs and fish and chip shops, the pickles have a tangy flavour that is sweeter than the related gherkin. They have been popular in the USA since the 1960s.
Details They are made from cucumbers marinated in dill, vinegar, seasoning and spices, then cut lengthways into spears, breaded and deep fried.
Serving suggestions On their own with a ranch-style dressing; with fish and chips; in a sharing platter; or with a gourmet burger or surf-and-turf dish.
