BRITA is a German family-owned business operating worldwide and is well known for its water filtration solutions.
Last year, the Stoop Stadium, home of rugby union team Harlequins FC, wanted to create the best hydration solution for players, visitors and staff and sought out BRITA for their help.
Having solved the problem of the players' hydration requirements with an innovative bespoke filtered water vending machine, BRITA set to work to provide a solution to all the stadium's water needs.
A tap system in all the hospitality suites allows BRITA filter water to be served chilled in re-usable, branded glass bottles. The combi-ovens and coffee machines in the kitchen and hospitality suites have also been fitted with filters to enhance the taste, appearance and aroma of food and beverages.
BRITA has also launched its Water Report - created to help operators boost their reputation and bottom line by going behind the scenes to give all the facts and need-to-know water information in an easy-to-read format.
Speaking at the launch of the report, Anthony Spruce, sales director for BRITA Professional, said: "At BRITA Professional we know just how important high-quality water is - after all, filtering it to achieve better looking, tasting and smelling food and drink, while helping operators boost their reputation and bottom line, is what we do.
"We are committed to making it easy for operators to look after the quality of their water so that it enhances the consumer experience and protects equipment. We want to share our expertise and innovation in water filtration with the industry in a way that makes a difference to profits and gives operators peace of mind."
