Brita recognised as best non-coffee supplier at Allegra Coffee Awards

Brita Professional has been voted best non-coffee supplier Europe at the Allegra European Coffee Awards 2012.

The awards recognise excellence and outstanding commitment and are voted for by 10,000 senior coffee industry professionals across Europe.

Anthony Spruce, sales director at Brita Professional, said: "We're delighted to accept this award. It's great to be voted for by our peers and customers and shows how our filters can help operators get the best from their beans.

"Water makes up to 98% of any black drink and so, even though we're a non-coffee supplier, our filters are an essential part of any coffee provision and as much of an ingredient as the beans themselves. We're excited that the coffee community has recognised the benefits that we can bring to all operators serving coffee."
