McCain chips are made from potatoes sourced via a partnership with 300 selected British farmers - so chefs can declare on their menus that they are serving 100% British potatoes.
The Classics range is cooked in sunflower oil for lower saturated fat and includes Best of British Beefeater Cut Chips, a chunky cut chip; Stay Crisp Thin Fries, chips with a light "stay crisp" coating for extra crispness and longer holding times; and Southern Fried Spirals, curly fries with a light seasoning.
For a premium and more distinctive offer, the Signatures range includes Gourmet Chips, the restaurant-style chunky cut chip; Rustic Chips, a skin-on random cut chip with a home-made appearance; and Traditional Chips with a savoury coating.
McCain says caterers can easily personalise their chip offering with signatures dips or spices such as Gourmet Chips with Roquefort cheese fondue or spicy salsa, or Classics Best of British Thin Cut (3/8) dusted with Cajun spice.
To help caterers celebrate and participate in National Chip Week, McCain is giving away free promotional kits to the first 250 customers who register on the company's website at using the code ANCW.
