Budweiser Budvar agrees listing terms with the Revolution Bars Group

Czech brewer Budweiser Budvar has announced new listing terms with the Revolution Bars Group, which operates the Revolution & Revolución de Cuba bar brands.

With immediate effect Budweiser Budvar will be stocked in 59 Revolution bars across the UK, including London, Leeds, Liverpool, Derby, Aberdeen, Manchester, Bath, Birmingham, Cambridge and Blackpool.

Simon George, UK sales director, Budweiser Budvar UK, said: "This is a great year to kick off our new pouring deal as we celebrate our 120-year anniversary. Our founding fathers would be thrilled to see Budweiser Budvar succeeding with such a pioneering and progressive customer 120 years after they opened the brewery doors in 1895."

Myles Doran, trading director for Revolution Bars Group, added: "We are thrilled to have agreed terms with Budweiser Budvar and look forward to developing a great partnership in the foreseeable future.

"After extensive trials throughout both of our brands in packaged format we were delighted with the rate of sale and brand recognition, so it was a natural progression out of the fridge and onto the bar, delivering a much more premium serve for a very in demand product."
