Unilever Food Solutions has teamed up with two Michelin-starred chef Phil Howard to offer his services in the kitchen of a UK chef for a day.

As part of the ‘Butter me up' campaign by Meadowland Professional, Howard will visit an operator to share his experience and offer advice on areas such as menu development, cooking techniques and tips for keeping customers happy.

The campaign is designed to encourage chefs to try the new product, which Unilever says performs like butter.

Meadowland Professional marketing manager Rhodri Morgan said: "We know how demanding life as a chef is and the pressure of costs is always a challenge. Meadowland 250g has been designed to achieve the same results as butter in cooking, baking and frying without compromising the quality and taste of the finished dish."

Howard said he was looking forward to working with the winner.

He added: "There is some great talent out there and often it's the little tweaks and touches of personality that make something stand out. The campaign is an opportunity for chefs to take a step back and think differently about how they do things."

To enter, chefs should visit www.ufs.com/meadowland to tell Howard how they would ‘Butter him up'.
