Cacao Barry launch search for 2015 World Chocolate Master

The search for the 2015 World Chocolate Masters will start in September 2014 with a series of national selections.

Organisers Cacao Barry are seeking potential contestants, with the support of chocolate makers Callebaut and Carma to compete for the title of "UK and Irish Chocolate Master" at the 2015 grand international final.

Patissiers, chocolatiers and chefs are all being sought for the competition with the UK and Ireland national pre-selection heat taking place on the 18 February 2015.

The UK heats will take place at Westminster Kingsway College in London, where contestants will have to make one chocolate showpiece and one moulded praline.

The 2015 competition theme is ‘Inspiration from Nature' with new for this year's competition, ‘Patisserie of the day' and ‘Chocolate to go' assignments.

The closing date for applications is 1 September 2014.
