Lotus Bakeries, a traditional family-owned business, is still baking Lotus Original Caramelised Biscuits in the small Belgian town of Lembeke.

The same recipe has been used since 1932, with only natural ingredients and no artificial flavours, colours or hydrogenated fats. The individually wrapped biscuits are allergen-free and suitable for vegetarians.

The caramelisation process gives the biscuits a subtle taste and cinnamon aroma which combines well with a cup of coffee or tea.
