CEDA announces new chairman and managing director
The http://www.ceda.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer">Catering Equipment Distributors Association (CEDA) has announced two top-level appointments.
Iain Munro, joint managing director of ScoMac Catering Equipment, this month takes over the role of chairman from Peter Kitchin, managing director of C&C Catering Equipment, who has held the position for a record-breaking five years.
And in May Robin McKnight, managing director of Blanco CS UK, becomes managing director of the association. Former incumbent Peter Kay, who has served as CEDA managing director for six years, will remain involved in the organisation on a part-time basis.
Both Munro and McKnight have a wealth of experience in the catering supply and distribution sector.
Munro has worked for Wholesale Catering Equipment, Gerard Gamble, Falcon, Rational, and Scobie & McIntosh. McKnight started his career at Scobie & McIntosh before moving to Dawson Foodservice Equipment where he rose to the position of sales and marketing director during his 20 years with the company.
