CEDA sets up foundation course

CEDA, the Catering Equipment Distributors Association, has launched a two-year foundation course for both newcomers to hospitality and staff who want to further their knowledge of the industry.

Developed in conjunction with FCSI UK and Thames Valley University - which will host sessions at its Ealing, west London, premises from April - the new Foundation Degree in Foodservice Business Design and Management puts special emphasis on the design and operation of food service systems.

The course will combine distance learning with short "on campus" sessions and cost £1,590 a year, excluding travel and accommodation bills.
