Bisto is celebrating Mother's Day by giving chefs and caterers the opportunity to win a two-night luxury stay in Cornwall.
Falling on Sunday 30th March, Mother's Day is traditionally one of the busiest days on the foodservice calendar and Premier Foods is encouraging chefs and caterers to plan ahead.
Mark Rigby, executive chef at Premier Foods, explained: "There are a number of ways for outlets to make sure Mother's Day runs smoothly in terms of the food and the footfall. It is important to plan menus early and entice customers with something different from the day-to-day offering.
"We would recommend outlets put together a set-price menu especially for the occasion, and make sure they advertise in advance to generate interest. Use accompaniments to ‘upsell' the meal experience, try offering extra gravy, for example, and adding the Bisto logo to your menu can also help drive sales."
