Modular and flexible refrigerated units from Adande can cut energy use by 57% because the insulated drawers do not lose any cold air when they are opened, reducing running costs and prolonging the shelf life of food.

The units, which can hold the equivalent of 4 x 1/1 GN containers, provide 25% more storage capacity in a 20% smaller footprint than traditional counter fridges.

The Chef Base combines the unit with a 200kg load-bearing heat shield that allows it to serve as a platform for chargrills, griddles, fryers and combi-ovens. This saves time as chilled and frozen foods are readily at hand for cooking. The bases guarantee temperature stability from +15 to -22°C and do not require ice to keep fish fresh.
