Chef's Pass, the brand of ready-made products from Kerry Foodservice, has launched a new range of bouillons, marinades and liquid reductions.
The collection of products will inject a smokey flavour to dishes, without the use of a wood-fired oven.
The new ‘clean smoke' Tennessee Marinade is a sweet and smokey dry rub, whilst the Louisiana Marinade rub combines chilli with sweet maple for a hint of heat. One 450g jar can be used to marinade 9kg of meat in 15 minutes, eradicating long preparation times.
The Smokey Hickory & Oak Reduction Liquid Smoke features smoked-flavoured vegetables. The subtle liquid smoke can be used as a sauce or alongside a dry rub marinade.
Meanwhile, the Chef's Pass range of bullions are available in powder, paste and liquid form in beef, chicken and vegetable flavours.
All of the new products are gluten and allergen free.

Chef's Pass was launched in March 2016. Its first product reflected the growing popularity of piri piri flavour. As well as introducing four dry rub marinades: Peri Peri Mild; Peri Peri Hot; Peri Peri Lemon and Herb; and Peri Peri Hot and Spicy it also released a product to quicken the process of caramelising onions. A 90g sachet of Onion Reduction will caramelise 1kg of onions in eight minutes.
The Chef's Pass app, launched at the same time at the peri peri range products and which offers recipes, videos and market trends, has been downloaded by almost 3,000 people.
