Chicken Balti Pudding from Glendale Foods

Chicken Balti Pudding, the newest addition to Glendale's Great British Pudding Company range, combines Balti flavours from Asia with the traditional British baked suet pudding. Chunky chicken breast is marinated and cooked in an authentic curry sauce and teamed with a golden suet crust containing cumin, cardamon, coriander and kalonji seeds (an intrinsic ingredient in naan breads).
The pudding comes pre-baked and quick-frozen and can be microwaved from frozen in six minutes. It is sold in packs of eight 370g puddings and Glendale says it can offer realistic menu mark-ups of £4-£5 per serving.
