Chiller Box MD Poumpouris wins IoD award and credits CEDA
CEDA member Chiller Box has announced that managing director Marios Poumpouris has won the highly respected Institute of Directors (IoD) award of London and South East Director of the Year for up to £4.9m business turnover.
To be considered for this award Poumpouris had to demonstrate his links and commitment to the industry that he and Chiller Box operate in. Within four years Chiller Box has become an accredited member of CEDA, Cedabond and one of the allied members of the FCSI.
"It's an absolute honour to be recognised by such a prestigious board of directors. The award is a testimony not only to my own hard work; but to all the hard work and achievements of the team and support of industry association CEDA," Poumpouris said.
"Being part of CEDA has shown the market that Chiller Box is serious about what they do, and gives clients confidence in their capabilities".
Poumpouris plays a very active role in the food service industry, from sitting on the executive committee of the FCSI to being an ambassador for the Springboard charity working within the business faculties of local colleges. In 2010 Poumpouris was runner up in the IoD London and South East Director of the Year 2009 awards, New Business category.
