Chip and PIN Express coffee bars from Coffee Nation

Gourmet self-service coffee company Coffee Nation has launched its first Chip and PIN coffee bar, Express, following a successful pilot at the University of Birmingham.

It is aimed at partners such as hospitals, colleges and commercial establishments with a high-footfall, fixed-customer base who will benefit from a shared revenue stream in excess of £150,000 a year, a technical helpline, no fees for service contracts or replacement parts, and regular visits for training and audits.

The Express bar has an intuitive touch-screen for menu selection (which can be customised) and a Chip and PIN system that accommodates all major debit and credit cards as well as notes and coins.

It will deliver espressos, cappuccinos, lattes, hot chocolate and mochas as well as flavour syrups such as vanilla, caramel and hazelnut, along with fresh skimmed milk. Coffee Nation currently trades in almost 900 sites across the UK.
