Chip Shop fish range launched by Young's

In response to consumer demand for chip shop-style products, Young's has launched the Chip Shop range of battered cod, haddock and pollack products for food service.

Made with a blend rich in sunflower oil, the products carry the Fish for Life mark and when oven-baked contain less than 5% saturated fat.

The Pollack products are certified to the Marine Stewardship Council's environmental standard for a well-managed and sustainable fishery.

For children, the company offers the Jumbo Battered Cod Fillet Fingers (36 x 70g) featuring double-sized prime fillets of cod wrapped in a crispy, bubbly batter and containing no artificial colours and preservatives.

Other products include cod in 100g, 145g or 175g portions; haddock in 145g or 175g portions; and wild Alaskan pollack weighing 100g, 145g or 175g.

Also available are 36 packs of Jumbo wild Pollack fish fingers weighing 71g each.
