Choice Chip Awards return for Chip Week 2013
As part of the celebrations for Chip Week (18-24 February 2013) operators' customers are being encouraged to vote in the Choice Chip Awards to decide the Best Chippy Chips and the Best Independent Pub/Restaurant Chips for 2013.
The awards, organised by the Potato Council, aim to recognise and reward tasty chips served in pubs and restaurants across the country. They also provide establishments with a platform to drive sales and publicity for their business.
All those registered to take part in Chip Week will receive a kit with everything they need to participate, including posters and voting cards.
Customers can vote using the dedicated cards or online at www.chips.lovepotatoes.co.uk. After the closing date, the pub or restaurant with the most votes will be awarded the prestigious "Champion" title that confirms their position in the chip hall of fame.
