Classeq takes on UK distributorship of US firm Ice-O-Matic

The UK distribution of the US range of Ice-O-Matic ice machines switched to Classeq last month.

Made from rust-resistant stainless steel with fingerprint-proof plastic trims, they range from compact under-counter models to large-capacity machines. Their low profile and top air-discharge system (which ejects exhaust air from the top rather than the sides) means they will fit into tight spaces.

Common features include Ice-O-Matic's Pure Ice programme, which uses an AgION antimicrobial compound to reduce the build-up of slime and bacteria inside the machine; a three-step cleaning and sanitising procedure; and easy access to all key components with the removal of two simple fasteners.

The line-up includes the Ice Series of cube and half-cube machines; flake ice makers; and pearl ice machines that produce soft, chewable crystals. Storage bins with built-in scoop holders are added as separate components to modular machines or built into self-contained versions.
