Clothes2order expands product range for hospitality sector

Clothes2Order corporate uniforms supplier, which prints and embroiders logos on to polo shirts, t-shirts and sweatshirts, has seen sales surge this year, boosted by an investment of £350,000 to double capacity and upgrades to its e-commerce operations and website.

Orders from the hospitality sector are driving much of the company's growth, resulting in the launch of a range of ties and waistcoats for hotel, restaurant and bar staff while adding to its ranges of aprons and chefs' jackets.

Michael Conway, managing director (pictured), of clothes2order, said: "Achieving our one millionth uniform customisation represents a milestone for Clothes2Order and comes as a result of a lot of hard work by our dedicated team and our investment in the business, but we are not resting on our laurels.

"We have ambitious plans for the business, and the hospitality sector is central to our growth strategy. It's a fast-expanding market for us, and we have decided to increase our product range in line with the demand we are experiencing."

Orders so far this year have surpassed those received during the whole of 2012. Year-on-year sales are on track to be 60% higher for 2013.
