Coffee@Work to be the fundraising focus of UK Coffee Week

UK Coffee Week, the annual charitable event that celebrates the UK coffee industry and raises funds for clean water initiative Project Waterfall, takes place this week.

Now in its third year, the event was established by the Allegra Foundation, which delivers life-changing clean water projects in coffee-growing African countries, working in partnership with WaterAid. It focuses on providing clean drinking water, good hygiene and improved sanitation to some of the poorest communities.

As part of UK Coffee Week, the Coffee@Work initiative, sponsored by Kenco Millicano, is inviting workplaces of all sizes to encourage their employees to make a donation for their hot beverages made at work during this week, and to organise fundraising events such as cake sales, dress-down Friday and guest barista appearances.
