Compact oil filter machines from Vito

The Vito line of cooking oil filter machines from Germany can save users up to 50% in oil costs and ensure the food is not discoloured and degraded with carbonised food and water.

Unlike larger systems, which operators must wheel around and hold the hose in the fryer, the compact Vitos are placed in the fryer after each cooking session and switched on.

The Vito 30 (112mm x 363mm x 180mm) can filter 30 litres of oil per minute and clean two 15-litre fryers in 20 minutes.

The Vito 50 (112mm x 363mm x 180mm) can purify 50 litres of oil per minute and clean two 25-litre fryers of breadcrumbs and batter fragments in five minutes apiece.

The Vito 80 (191mm x 490mm x 190mm) is ideal for gas fryers and filters 95 litres of cooking oil in one minute. Its cooled motor allows it to handle up to 16 fryers and large fryers of 100-litre to 120-litre capacities.

Vito's Food Oil Monitor claims to improve oil savings by a further 10%. It measures the temperature of the cooking oil and determines its quality in percentage of polar compounds, calculating the optimum frying point and advising an oil change only when necessary.
