Maximum cooking efficiency is the promise for the new range of 11kW electric convection ovens from Imperial Catering, which use a Turbo-Flow system to recirculate hot air to provide even cooking, savings on fuel and faster recovery times.

There are two basic models - either a standard depth of 40¼in or a bakery depth of 44¼in, which has 20% more capacity - with a number of options, including manual or programmable control packages and additional outer racks and shelves for single-deck models.

Standard features include five chrome-plated racks, two-speed fan and two interior oven lights with a momentary switch on the outside to allow chefs to see what is happening inside more easily.

The units' doors, sides, tops and legs are made from stainless steel and the doors require just one hand to open them to a maximum wide-viewing angle of 115°.

The ovens come complete with a two-year parts and labour warranty.
