Cool-touch hob tops from the Induction Company – Hotelympia

A range of affordable, energy-efficient induction tables and hobs has been launched by the Induction Company.

They are claimed to use half the electricity of conventional cooking tops to deliver power savings of between 40% and 70%.

The portable tables, which measure 800mm high x 1,000mm deep x 2,000mm wide, can accommodate six hobs and come in a robust easy-clean flat top made from Star Galaxy black granite.

The hobs, which provide a temperature range from 60°C to 240°C, give a precise and instant response and heat the pans rather than the tops, which remain cool to the touch.

Settings from one to 100 allow super-sensitive cooking control and the detected removal of a pan prompts the system to cut off the energy to further slash running costs. The table is available in 380V three-phase or 220V single-phase versions.
