Cost-cutting MIDI K625H fridge/freezer from Gram

The MIDI K625H from Gram is the UK's most economical, energy-saving fridge/freezer for caterers, according to the Energy Technology List. The list says it is 35% cheaper to run that it's nearest rival.

The model uses 506kW a year to run, compared with its rivals' 681kW. At 10p per kW, the Gram appliance will cost £51 to run for a year or £354 over seven years (providing a £122 saving on its closest competitor).

Gram's MIDI range is suitable for the wide 2/1 gastronorm system, with shelves able to accommodate two 1/1 gastronorm pans side-by-side.

Temperature is kept consistent by an air-circulation system that directs air down the air distribution plate at the back, around the cabinet and back to the evaporator fan in the top.
