Decorarive heat lamps from Hatco

Decorative heat lamps from Hatco are an antidote to drab, industrial-style models that will create an effective and visually appealing heat pass or food display area while providing 50% more wattage than standard.

The customisable lamps are available in eight styles of lampshade, eight mounting options and four switch location options - stem, canopy, remote, or none). The 15 colour choices includes designer options in red, black, grey or white granite, navy and hunter green; gloss finishes in white, gold, grey, black, red, blue, and brushed metal; and polished brass or nickel.

The 250W and 275W light bulbs come in uncoated or coated and clear or red options.

Hatco's GloRay ceramic infrared heat lamps can be customised to move up and down from the ceiling on motorised screws to maximise the use of space, as can be seen in the kitchens of Raymond Blanc's Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons.

This allows the area below the heat lamp to be used for cold preparation outside of service (with the heat lamps raised) and as a heat pass during service with the lamps lowered.

These modular lights will also provide ambient light without heat and are Teflon-coated so food is not contaminated if they break.
