Delice urges personalised nostalgia to cash in on Easter

Thaw-and-serve bakery supplier Delice de France ](http://www.delicedefrance.co.uk)is urging caterers to make the most of the four-day Easter holiday by personalising its nostalgia-themed range of offerings.

Lines ideal for Easter promotions and makeovers include hot cross buns, a rich fruit cake and Loves cupcakes with milk chocolate or vanilla icing.

"Easter is a great opportunity for outlets to personalise sweet offerings, and with trends towards traditional products on the rise, we are encouraging outlets to remember the importance of nostalgia when it comes to purchase incentive," said brand communications manager Isabelle Davis.

Tips include transforming the fruit cake into a traditional Simnel cake with a topping of marzipan dusted with icing sugar, or sprinkling edible Easter toppings over muffins or cupcakes (which feature among the top 10 most popular coffee shop products).

The group's products are ready to serve in just four to five hours after thawing.
