Chocolate lovers will be intrigued by the Ice Cream Brownie Cake, one of Brakes' latest dessert offerings.

The cake is layered with chocolate-flavoured mousse and clotted cream ice-cream, topped with chocolate-flavoured sandwich biscuit pieces, and milk and dark chocolate pieces, and is feathered with a chocolate-flavoured glaze. The frozen dessert weighs 1.7kg and is available precut in 14 individual portions.

Other chocolate offerings include Profiteroles with chocolate sauce, supplied in four packs of 96 choux pastry balls filled with dairy cream. Belgian Chocolate Praline Torte is a Belgian chocolate brownie with a layer of chocolate ganache, covered with a Belgian chocolate mousse and finished with a hazelnut praline topping. This is precut into 14 servings and is available individually.

Open Bramley Apple Pie (2.1kg) is a fully baked shortcrust pastry filled with British Bramley apple and topped with British Bramley apple slices and an apricot glaze, available precut into 12 individual portions.

Flavoured Delight Desserts (600g) come in strawberry, chocolate and banana flavours. They are available in packs of six and can be whisked up with water or milk for extra creaminess.Alternatively, caterers can purchase 1kg bags of fruit - including cranberries, morello cherries, wild blueberries and strawberries - to serve alone or alongside another dessert.
