Double-rack UC dishwashers from Winterhalter
Winterhalter has introduced a double-rack system for its UC series of dishwashers. By using the twin racks the washing capacity is doubled, effectively halving both running costs and the overall wash time.
The double 500mm x 500mm rack consists of a rack holder and two individually removable slide-in racks. The bottom rack has an angled base for good drainage and is designed for up to 24 cups, while the top rack offers space for 16 small plates. Both racks are made from wire frames with a tough plastic coating.
Features of the UC Series include VarioPower elliptical wash arms and a variable water pressure; a single start button which changes colour to indicate the progress of the wash cycle; and a touch screen displays clear symbols with animations, including an Eco mode which can save up to 11% in running costs.
Self-cleaning and decalcification programs are also included and an error management system quickly alerts operators to any problems.
