Douwe Egberts, N&W and Regency Design to launch new Coffee Machine

Douwe Egberts Professional has entered into a partnership with N&W Global Vending and Regency Design to launch a new self-serve high quality coffee machine.

The new machine has a variety of options, offering espresso bean coffee, instant, fresh-brew tea and skimmed milk using the N&W 7100 Plus coffee machine and the Regency Design company's stylish pod.

The new machine has a touch sensitive display monitor and an entirely rebuilt door. There is also now a seamless front to the whole unit, and it is capable of holding over 2kg's of coffee beans.

Dave Ward, managing director, N&W Global Vending said: "I am very excited about this concept which provides a fully integrated Coffee Pod solution based on equipment vending operators know and can support. This allows them to enter a new market segment without a massive investment, in training, spares etc., to support it".

David Harkness of Regency Design, added: "We have produced a range of Douwe Egberts branded UK Coffee PODs for several customers using various coffee machines since we launched the UK Coffee PODs only a year ago. But to work on this project, designing and manufacturing a bespoke POD using the N&W 7100 Coffee Machine and Douwe Egberts brand has been a great opportunity and we are all really very pleased with the end product."

Martyn Bell, marketing manager for Douwe Egberts professional, said: "This is a very exciting new launch that sees a collaboration of efficiency, design and quality assurance that has produced an excellent machine".
