Easy-fit gas safety system from Intelligas

All connections are mains-rated in the new intelligent 100 automatic proving and ventilation interlock system from Intelligas, so no data cabling is required.

Combined with the use of a single valve and pressure switch arrangement, mechanical and electrical installation times are reduced by 30%.

The microprocessor-controlled system, which complies with both Corgi's TB130 and British Standard BS6173, detects downstream leaks and open gas valves and automatically fills and proves the gas line for integrity, only making gas available when the proving is successful.

The control panel features an easy-to-understand LED display with full details of what the different colours signify.

Operators can choose between five- or 10-second purge times and 30- or 60-second prove times. Interlocks include a gas pressure switch input for gas proving (which can be linked out if not needed), two airflow pressure switch inputs, two fire alarm inputs, two emergency stop inputs (plus one on the fascia), and two auxillary interlocks for future expansions (such as adding a time clock input or gas sensor).
