The new easyTouch operating system on Enodis's Convotherm +3 steam combis offers a host of benefits via an easy-to-use multifunction touch-screen panel with a large colour display, and a direct navigation system that requires minimal staff training.

Features include intelligent preheating; a Crisp&Tasty function to keep food crisp on the outside and tasty on the inside; a gentle bio-cooking program to preserve vitamins, essential nutrients, taste, and colour; and a new automatic cleaning system.

The ovens also have a patented "disappearing door" which, when fully opened at a 90° angle, then pushes backwards out of the way along the side of the oven.

Interactive possibilities include an automatic diagnostic programme that can send detailed error messages to a network of PCs, software updates and recipe downloads, and operating instructions on video clips.
