The new three-grid EC08 and four-grid EC09 are sturdy stainless-steel convection ovens from Lincat that are suitable for roasts, pizzas, pies and bakery products, and both accept 1/1 gastronorm containers.
Facilities include steam injection, water injection for bread-making, and cook-and-hold. The ovens provide even heat distribution, fast heat-up and recovery times, and twin-fan air circulation systems that reduce cooking times.
The 3kW EC08 is a plug-in unit whose small dimensions (575mm high x 790mm wide x 730mm deep) will appeal to smaller venues such as cafés.
The larger, more specialist 7.5kW EC09, which measures 630mm high x 770mm wide x 810mm deep, can be used more as a specialist oven for baking off chilled or frozen convenience bakery products.
Both models can be installed on the counter-top, on optional floor stands, or stacked using a stacking kit and low-level stand. They are priced at £1,360 and £2,150.
