Electrolux Professional offers 24-hour delivery to help reduce kitchen disruption

Electrolux Professional is offering customers 24-hour delivery as part of its move towards reducing delivery times by half and helping to reduce kitchen disruption.

The "24 to the door" pledge seeks to minimise downtime for kitchen staff, and is in direct response the company's recent survey, which found that the wait for kitchen equipment had had a damaging effect on 40% of chefs' businesses. All orders received before 11am will qualify for 24 hour delivery times.

The Electrolux Express range features equipment specialised in preparation, refrigeration and dishwashing, including the recently launched E-Flex glass washer.

Darren Lockley, head of region for UK & Ireland at Electrolux Professional, explained that preparation, refrigeration, and dishwashing equipment had been among the most commonly replaced equipment over the last 12 months,

He said: "Commercial catering equipment downtime has the potential to cripple a kitchen team during a busy service, so we have taken it upon ourselves to ensure the delivery of a variety of kitchen equipment just 24 hours after we have received their order [so] that if an emergency does occur, we will be at hand to provide a fast replacement and keep any disruption to an absolute minimum."
