Energy option on Winterhalter pass-through warewashers
The Energy and Energy+ options on Winterhalter's pass-through warewashers provide substantial cost savings and improved working conditions.
They recycle heat from washwater steam (and also from the washwater in the case of Energy+) to heat up incoming cold water and release dry, cool air.
The Energy option on the GS502 and GS516 warewashers make them especially suited to schools, which tend to be older and less well-ventilated than modern restaurant kitchens.
The feature can reduce the energy load, saving operators up to £450 a year. An eight-year saving of 40,000kWh is achievable to provide savings of more than £3,600.
The Energy+ facility on GS500 dishwashers make them a good choice for care homes as they eliminate the need for costly extractors and can reduce the total connected load to yield annual savings of up to £1,095.
