Energy saving features on Hobart warewashers
Energy- and related cost-saving features are built across Hobart's commercial warewashers.
The FXP under-counter dishwasher launched last year cuts water consumption thanks to a reduced tank capacity of 10.8 litres and an optimised rinse system called Accurinse that slashes 30% off water, energy, detergent and rinse-aid use. A four-stage wash process (called Intensiv4) reduces detergent quantities by a further 40% by filtering the main wash water every cycle.
Claimed to be the fastest hood machines on the market and capable of cleaning up to 70 racks per hour, Hobart's AMX pass-through warewashers save energy by using the heat from waste water to heat up fresh rinse water.
The FT series of flight-type warewashers (FTN and FTP) - which can wash up to 7,200 plates per hour - carry a host of features claimed to save operators between £40,000 and £50,000 over 10 years and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 190,000kg. Its patented processes are said to reduce electrical consumption, operating costs by up to 50%, detergent consumption by up to 75%, and exhaust output by up to 20%.
