Energy-saving warewashers from Meiko

A number of green, energy-saving features are built into Meiko's line of front-loading, pass-through, universal, and rack- and conveyor-type warewashers.

For instance, the EcoStar pass-through dishwashers have an Eco Filter that clears food particles from wash water to reduce detergent and power consumption.

The Series 2 K-Tronic basket transport rack system reuses water and steam to save energy and has an optional heat recovery system available in four energy-recovery capacities.

The model's CSS (chemical-saving system) can also cut detergent use by between 60% and 80% by using part of the incoming final rinse water to remove detergent-guzzling debris before the dishes reach the main wash zone.

An optional Reverse Osmosis unit available across the different styles of washers reduces limescale build-up and detergent and rinse-aid consumption by delivering up to 400 litres per hour of pure water from which 98% of dissolved minerals have been removed.
