Essential Cuisine seeks Chefs Team and North West Young Chef contenders
The hunt is on for Essential Cuisine's 2011 Chefs Team and North West Young Chef of the Year contenders.
Shortlisted dynamic duos who can cook in synchrony will battle it out for the Chefs Team Award at the Hospitality Show in Birmingham next January.
They will have one hour to prepare, cook and present an amuse bouche, a fish course (using Essential's Lobster Glace of Fish Stock) and a main course (using Essential's Premier Jus or Game Glace) for two covers.

Candidates for the North West Young Chef of the Year Award will be expected to prepare a three-course meal for two using local North-western seasonal produce costing up to £25.
Although the Cheshire heat was held earlier this month, there is still time for under-25-year-old chefs from Cheshire, Merseyside, Cumbria, Greater Manchester and Lancashire to register for the regional heats in the spring.

This year's North West winner, Tom Lee, went on to become the runner-up in the National Young Chef of the Year 2010 while the 2010 Chefs' Team Award went to James Hart and Leszek Karpinski from Goodenough College.
