FEW Clymate IQ banqueting cart from Imperial
The Clymate IQ precision-heated and humidified banqueting cart is a new addition to the Food Warming Equipment Company (FWE) range of mobile banqueting cabinets from Imperial Catering.
The cabinet takes the guesswork out of holding food with the cleverly engineered Intuitive Climate Control feature which automatically maintains set levels of heat and humidity. It gets up to temperature and humidity in 30 minutes and the unique push-pull air distribution system provides uniform temperature and humidity on every level, front to back, throughout the unit.
With user-friendly, easy-to-read, easy-to-set, colour-coded controls, the Clymate IQ can be set from 10-90% relative humidity and 32-93¡C. By pressing one of two buttons on the console, the operator can see instantly actual temperatures and humidity levels on a digital read out. It recovers heat and humidity in three minutes and, if the door is left open for longer than three minutes, an alarm will sound to alert staff. An alarm will also sound if the water level in the tank drops too low.
The FWE banqueting carts have a gasketless door design eliminating the common problem of fiddly gasket replacement and maintenance, while the door itself is reversible. Shelves are positioned on the rails of the one-piece removable racks and no clips are needed to retain them.
The shelves slide in and out to adjust placement, with gastronorm pans sized to fit on the rails easily. The water reservoir pulls out and the heating elements lift up for ease of cleaning. Within the cabinet, the temperature sensor and probe are part of the heat system.
A heat tunnel allows heat to flow evenly through the unit, eliminating hot and cold spot and assuring fast recovery during peak serving periods. FWE's ‘Food Sentry' electronic controls are designed to keep foods at optimum temperatures at peak serving periods.
The cabinets are available in a variety of sizes from the four-shelf PHTT-4 to the 12-shelf PHTT-12. There is also a double stack unit, PHTT4S/6 with six shelves in the bottom part and four in the top.
