Salmon and chicken are the focus of two new ready-to-bake frozen meals from Brakes, which has also launched a fishy Mixed Grill Pack.
Its Spinach and Smoked Salmon Tart comprises a light chive pastry case with a creamy spinach and salmon sauce filling topped with Pecorino crumb that will bake in foil in about 18 minutes. The tart is sold in individual portions in packs of eight.
Chicken en Croûte, sold in packs of eight, is made from chicken breast with a mushroom and truffle stuffing in a rich puff pastry case.
The Mixed Grill Pack (in packs of 12) brings together a trio of fish - skinless and boneless tuna and salmon, along with red snapper with the skin left on - that simply need brushing with a marinade and cooking in the oven, grill or griddle.
